The Rocky Men’s Shed was asked by some chess enthusiasts to construct some tables to use as chess tables for them to use in their games days. Shown here is one of those tables awaiting the Chess Board.
We have started to make some pens on our wood lathes as a way of expanding our expertise.
We were asked to make some holders for Fathers Day so we took on the task and Reg did the majority of the task. Below is the result
The Rocky Men’s Shed had great delight in making a new bird feeder for Des Ryan to replace the old one that was showing the worse for wear after many years of continuous use see the photo below

The photos are some of the restoration work carried out by Reg, Barry & Garry on a Birthday present for a 90 year old gentleman for his grandsons to present him with. The second was a Mahjong box that Barry restored for a local lady which was a much valued item. Thirdly Garry has built a frame for one of the auction items for our High Tea that is being run by the Rocky Sports Club.
