I have attached this video for your information so you may gain an understanding on how the corona virus effects us and what can happen if we don’t all self isolate and look after our hygiene. the Doctor in this video explains it in great detail

Trevor Brisban’s daughter is getting her locks cut of to help raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation. For those who don’t know Trevor lost his wife Linda to Leukemia last year when she was suddenly taken to Brisbane with this terrible disease so Candice is asking those who can dig deep and donate. The time and venue which was to be Brown Park at Capras game is now held over so we will have to let you know the new date when we get it after the Corona Virus Pandemic is over. You can contact Candice on the phone number shown on the pamphlet shown with this post
The information from AMSA is to help move forward by staying in touch with the Men’s Sheds throughout Australia or just locally if you wish to.
I will be putting something in place this week to ensure our members are kept up to date with what is going on through this medium as well as other ways
Jim
The Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc.has followed a direction of our National Office and have temporally restricted access to our shed and until further advice from our National Office and at the direction of our members, will at the direction of our executive, only be doing work for Home Assist which is an essential service that we do. What will happen in this case will be that I will organise for 2 of our members to attend the building with myself or our vice president Les Brooks and carry out the required work. This will keep our operations to a minimum during this very worrying time.I hope all at the people of the Rockhampton & Livingstone areas and indeed all in Queensland and Australia keep safe and we all come through this.
