The Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc. has been notified by the ATO today, Tuesday 6th October 2020 that it has been granted Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status effective from 1st October 2020.
What does this mean to prospective donors? – it means that any donations – from $2 upwards made to the Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc will be Tax deductible.
It also gives the Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc much more scope to obtain Grants from the Private Business Sector where DGR status, in lots of cases , is mandatory before applying.
