Securing the shed
Again many thanks Reg and the guys who helped install them.
Thanks to the expertise of Reg the shed is now secure with gates, fences and the windows with secure covers over the windows in building 2 with the others to be done in the new year.
The Shed has closed for the year closing on Wednesday 18 December and reopening on Monday 6th January Merry Christmas from our new President Barry Kajewski As well as from our past President Jim Lawler, and our Patron Kim Harrington. A very Merry Christmas to all our supporters and customers from all the members of The Rockhampton Mens Shed Inc., see you again in the New Year.

Opening of the Real Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc.& Community Center Men’s Shed including shed 2
The official opening of the Real Rockhampton Men’s Shed took place on Friday the 27th of September 2024 and was well attended by well over 100 in attendance as our members who conducted tours of our buildings for our guests and community members and all sheds were well received by all in attendance with several comments made in our attendance books. Shed 1 is the Men’s Shed Shed 2 is inclusive of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, Gym, Office, & 3D, and Engraving Center as well as other tech services. Below are some photos of the opening. President Jim Lawler is still getting over his heart surgery and is relying on walking aids to get around.

Come along and join with The Members of The Rockhamptron Men’s Shed Inc. to celebrate the opening of The Community Center that will be open to the community for the initial free membership to you the members of the Rockhampton constituancy. We will have all sorts of things to enjoy.
