The Hopkins family have a transport business history in the Rockhampton region dating back to the 1880’s.  Hopkins Brothers was established in 1987, and from humble beginnings has expanded into a fully-equipped leading supplier of hard rock quarry products, sand, soil and gravels, earthmoving, transport, rail maintenance and construction services in Central Queensland and beyond.Hopkins Brothers is committed to the local community.  We are proudly locally owned and operated, and use local suppliers whenever possible.  We also support a number of community groups, sporting clubs and charities

Hopkins Bros. Have been good enough to donate their time and equipment to allow us to clear and compact the land at our site at CQ University North Rockhampton Campus.

This land has been leased by The Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc. from the University to further expand our projects.

The Caves Quarry working together with Hopkins Bros. put in about 850 cubic tons of road base to set the foundations of the land ready for the foundations to be set for the first shed and will allow fro the rest of the sheds to be set up when we raise the finances for the second & third stages to proceed.
