The Ladies Auxiliary of The Rockhampton Men’s Shed Inc. organized a Christmas Party at Schotia Place this year the venue was an excellent choice for us. It allowed us plenty of room to move around as well we were surprised at the amount of help; we were given unloading the Christmas gifts and other equipment we had to ensure a great day for our members. The meal was an unexpected home cooked one of ham, chicken and potatoes, pumpkin with peas & beans as well as sweets of either Plumb Pudding & custard or Pavlova & ice cream. Our thanks go to the caterers as well as our Ladies Auxiliary who never cease to amaze us each year with not only the venue but the secret Santa gifts they put together for our members.
